Comprehensive Contact Lens Exams

A contact lens exam is different from a standard eye exam. We’ll assess your vision, eye health, corneal shape, and tear film quality. With this information, we can suggest contacts that are suited to your specific needs.

Did you know? Your contact lens prescription is a different and separate prescription from your glasses prescription!

We’ll evaluate fit, comfort, and visual clarity. You’ll have time to trial your new lenses, and we’ll book you a follow-up visit where we can help refine your choice if needed.

We want you to feel comfortable in your contacts while correcting your vision. Book a contact lens exam and fitting today!

Types of Contact Lenses

We offer a variety of contact lenses to match your lifestyle, eye health, and preferences. Our optometrists will help you choose the best option for your unique needs.

  • Soft lenses: Popular, breathable, and comfortable. Ideal for active lifestyles, sports, and conditions like astigmatism or high prescriptions.
  • Rigid gas-permeable (RGP) lenses: Durable, long-lasting, and ideal for high prescriptions or corneal conditions. Provide stable vision with long-term benefits.
  • Hybrid lenses: Combines the clarity of RGP lenses with the comfort of soft lenses. Great for irregular corneas or those struggling with RGP comfort.

Whether you’re new to contacts or looking to switch up your style, we’ll guide you and support your vision goals.

Our Specialty Contact Lenses

For those with unique vision needs, specialty contact lenses offer tailored solutions. From astigmatism correction to presbyopia management, these lenses provide vision correction and comfort.

Our team of optometrists will work closely with you to determine the specialty lens that suits your specific eye condition and lifestyle.

Toric lenses are designed to correct astigmatism, a condition where the cornea has an irregular shape. Unlike standard lenses, toric contacts have different powers in different places on the lens.

Toric lenses are available in soft, rigid gas-permeable, and hybrid materials, helping those with astigmatism achieve clearer sight and a secure fit.

For patients with presbyopia (loss of close up vision), multifocal lenses provide clear vision at all distances. These lenses use multiple prescription zones to allow smooth transitions between near, intermediate, and far vision.

They’re available in soft, rigid, and hybrid designs. They offer an alternative to reading glasses or bifocals, maintaining convenience and comfort.

Orthokeratology (ortho-k) lenses can slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children and young adults. They’re a hard contact that temporarily reshapes your child’s cornea overnight.

We also offer MiSight contact lenses, which are soft contact lenses worn throughout the day. They’re a daily disposable contact that can help slow the progression of myopia.

Rigid gas-permeable (RGP) lenses are durable, oxygen-permeable contacts that provide sharp, clear vision, especially for patients with irregular corneas or high prescriptions. Though smaller than soft lenses, they offer excellent vision quality and long-term eye health benefits.

Our team will prioritize a precise fit for maximum comfort and performance.

Cosmetic coloured lenses allow wearers to change or enhance their eye colour. We also offer transition contact lenses, which provide the added benefit of reducing glare and making outdoor vision more comfortable.

They offer the benefits of sunglasses without having to switch between multiple pairs of glasses, ensuring clear and comfortable vision no matter the lighting conditions!
